Gigabit Ethernet test tools for Chantry Networks
When Chantry Networks needed to test a new wireless product, its engineers turned to Fidus. Our software designers developed a versatile, customized program that runs simultaneously on multiple test machines. Using proprietary protocols, running a distributed application on multiple Linux boxes, the tool generates traffic at approximately 400 Mb/s per machine.
Emulating a network of wireless devices and access points, the program serves as:
- Gigabit Ethernet Traffic Generator
- Protocol Tester
- Network Emulator.
We’ve also developed a Windows application to synchronize and control the multiple test tools.
